You may have been nominated in more than one category. While some information may be the same across a few different categories, we do ask that you please try and be “category specific” in your answers to each award submission.

Organisation Overview: Provide a brief overview of your Not-for-Profit (NFP) organisation. Please address the following in your response:(Required)

• Explain the nature of your organisation, outlining core products and/or services and how the contribute to the Gympie community.
• How many staff/volunteers and how long have you been in business?
• What are your organisation's values, mission and/or motivators?
• Is there a story behind your organisation? Provide a brief description.

Business Strategy: Business models for NFPs can vary greatly. Please provide an overview of your business strategy. You may consider addressing the following in your response:(Required)

• Your Business Plan including goals, strategy, processes, review mechanisms, competitive analysis, etc.
• Your approach to incorporating innovation, flexibility and resilience into your business.

Funding Strategy: The not-for-profit sector is often competing for ongoing funding and resources.(Required)

• What strategic directions have you implemented to ensure longevity for your service/business?
• How do you measure financial success, and what is your approach to sound financial management?

Achievements and challenges:(Required)

• Outline the organisation’s most memorable achievement in the last 12 months.
• What were some of the most difficult challenges you have had to face, and how have you overcome them to achieve success? What were the significant learnings?

Leadership: Outline your approach to leadership in the organisation, and in particular with regard to:(Required)

• Fostering a positive working environment /culture, how you challenge and motivate staff, how you celebrate wins.
• Investing in employees’ training and development, retention and reward strategies.
• Strategies for diversity (presence of people from all backgrounds, cultures, experiences, abilities and identities), equity (fair treatment and opportunities) and inclusion (fostering an environment in which people can take part, feel welcome, respected and valued).

Customer Service: Demonstrate how you provide excellent customer service. You may consider addressing the following in your response:(Required)
